Hurry, hurry, hurry!

I told you last week that big news is on the horizon for Angelic Knight Press. And while we're still a little ways from making a formal big reveal announcement, I can tell you that we have been acquired by another press. That's right, we'll be closing up shop here and moving to another location where we'll be the new horror imprint!

This is fantastic news! The new press has a fantastic marketing department, a crack editing team, and super fine folks in charge. I will be heading over to be the managing editor of the new Angelic Knight horror imprint, and Danielle will be going along as the acquisitions editor for the imprint. Which means, of course, that anyone subbing to the new horror imprint would still be dealing with us. And getting a lot of extra supporters in the bargain.

I'll explain more fully what this means and how you can stay in contact with us in the weeks ahead, as the move takes place in January. But first, I want to thank Rebecca Treadway of www.artrink.com for being such a valuable part of our team here at AKP for the past three years. While she's not making the move with us, she is doing a lot of freelance work, and I can't recommend her enough. I use her for my own, personal cover work and am always absolutely thrilled with her designs. Be sure to visit her at her website and on Facebook.

I also want to thank Blaze McRob for being such an amazing guy. If not for his vision, AKP would never have gotten off the ground to begin with. And he's been both friend and mentor ever since we met. He's up to his elbows with work for Visionary Press Collaborative. You can check them out on Facebook as well.

We also want to thank every one of the authors we've worked with through the years. If not for them and their amazing work, we'd never have had the success we enjoyed, the reputation we built, or half the fun we've had. They are all amazing and I wish them every success in all of their endeavors.

Most of our books are being pulled from the shelves (both virtual and real) this month, but I wanted to offer a discount on a few. Remember, these last few weeks of December are your last chance to get them! I'm including buy links and a discount code for a select few of our print books. Get them while they last!!

The eBook versions of Fading Light: An Anthology of the Monstrous, Fading Light: Companion, Shots of Terror, Satan's Toybox: Demonic Dolls, Satan's Toybox: Toy Soldiers, and Satan's Toybox: Terrifying Teddies are still available on Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo until the end of the month--when they will be unpublished.

The new publisher will be reissuing Fairly Wicked Tales, Snow Globe, and Dreams of Ivory and Gold, though with new covers. So if you are partial to the old covers, get your copies now! They will be available until December 30th on all platforms. Another company may be picking up the Satan's Toybox series.

We're also happy to announce that the new company will be bringing out our upcoming anthologies: Demon Rum and Other Evil Spirits and No Place Like Home: Tales From a Fractured Future in the next year as well. And our upcoming YA novel, Death's Kiss. These will all be part of the new horror imprint. Look for them mid 2015!

We'll be announcing the new company and other news in the coming weeks, so please stay tuned for details. And thank you to everyone who made AKP such a great venture.

Stacey
