Once completed, she’ll reach her lifelong dream - High Witch of Wysteria Hedge Haven. In a last ditch effort to locate the precious gem; she travels through time to 1877. In a dilapidated castle tower a powerful wizard refuses to relinquish the stone. In a fit of pique, the wizard, Balthazar, zaps her in a field just outside of Merry Olde London.
Sir Maxwell Chadwick is the sole witness to a fiery ball of light streaking across the midnight sky. Curious, he investigates. Surprised to find a beautiful young woman among the smoldering ashes, he cannot deny his instant attraction to the alluring stranger. While Miranda appreciates the handsome duke’s assistance, she finds him annoying as his well-intentioned interference delays her mission.
It doesn’t take Miranda long to realize the handsome duke holds the key to her heart, as well as her future. Fate, magic and the Seven-Year Witch disease takes the lovers on a rollicking, star-crossed adventure!

7 Year Witch is the first in a paranormal romance series by Cindy Keen Reynders. I really enjoyed this book! It was a very light hearted and fun read. The tone of the novel is set from the beginning with a talking broom, a disheveled witch that had been tossed around by an eleven year old boy with too much power given to him, and of course the man said witch is going to fall in love with. The two lead characters were very engaging right from the start, and had me genuinely interested in how they were going to reach their happily ever after together. For those of you who are not romance readers, the ending of anything in this genre is a foregone conclusion; the fun is all in how the characters get there. And this book was very fun! I would recommend this to any romance reader, or really anyone who is looking for a bit of escape with something that will make them smile. I am looking forward to the next one in the Wysteria Hedge Haven Clan series.

Book Description

Spirited away by a demon on the eve of her wedding, Cassie Rose, high witch of the Wysteria Hedge Haven Clan, finds herself trapped in the dark Underworld realm of Hades. Determined to return to Wysteria and her husband-to-be, the powerful warlock Viceroy of Oregon, she manages to escape.

While running for her life, she encounters Nik Zaros, a man so handsome she swears he would put a Greek statue to shame. Strapped to a plow being pulled by the mighty Marathonian Bull, Nik has been tortured and is near death. Cassie’s heart goes out to him, and she feels compelled to take him along with her.

Upon recovering, Nik is immediately attracted to the charming sorceress. Though she stirs his blood, he can’t help but suspect her of being in league with the demon, Prince Drakon. He soon discovers Cassie wishes to be free from the demon's control, just as he does, and only love's magic can save them.

Ever innovative, Cindy Keen Reynders gives readers a delightful story of love, adventure, magic and mayhem in her latest entry in the Wisteria Hedge Haven Clan series. The author set a high bar for herself with Seven Year Witch but has surpassed it with this fast-paced story of a white witch in danger of losing her powers, a handsome hunk with a mysterious past, and a baby broom. (Yes, witches' brooms start off as babies and have to learn to how to fly and, more importantly, how to behave.) Filled with vivid descriptions of a world I hope I never encounter, this is an unforgettable story of indomitable characters finding their happily-ever-after despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Don't miss it. And, if you haven't read Seven Year Witch, treat yourself to a double helping of Ms. Reynders' magical stories.

  1. No fair! I'm like blind over here! Grrr... Can I guess brown? Hint: This is why I've not signed on for the art competition on Axel's site or the pumpkin carving contest on What Really Scares Me.

    1. I looked at the picture again and it is a tough call, Lori, so you win the books as well as Nina! Two winners today.

  2. I'm sorry, Lori! I didn't think about colors in this manner. Tell me what Cindy Keen Reynders first name is and you'll win.

  3. Ummm... blonde (it can't be that simple). Great covers, great looking books!!

    1. Wow! Now that I look at the color of Cindy's hair, I see that it could be left in doubt. Okay, for being such an idiot, I will award you the ebooks, Nina. Cindy has red hair. I would know because I see her a lot. The picture doesn't do her justice.

    2. Well, she looks lovely in it, Red or Blonde, its a great head shot! ;)

    3. It is a great head shot, Nina!
