50 Shades of Decay

And here is the cover reveal for our upcoming zombie erotica anthology, 50 Shades of Decay. I hope you'll all join me in a virtual round of applause for Rebecca Treadway for doing such an amazing cover. How she managed to fit all of the 50 author's names on the back is beyond mind boggling.

The anthology is a compilation of 50 very short stories about love and lust before and during the zombie apocalypse. The stories are as diverse as can be. Many are hard core. This is not an anthology for the faint of heart (or stomach). Sex is always messy, relationships always complicated. Our authors prove that it's even more so after death.

One of the things I love best about this anthology is the story titles. Many are truly unique. And so I've decided to run a contest. Please leave a comment, either here or on our FB page, voting for your favorite story title. The title that gets the most votes, wins. I will give an extra print copy to the author who's title wins, and also to one of the commenters who voted for the winning title. Commenters names will be drawn randomly. Please check back next Wednesday when I announce the winner to see if you won! Contest runs until midnight CST next Tuesday. And yes, authors, you can vote for yourself. But everyone only gets one vote.

And now for the Table of Contents. You'll see that we've got a wide range of talent, from Stoker-winning to first time published. Variety is the spice of life.

  17. As an author in the antho, my vote probably shouldn't count, but "Menage a Trauma," by Dan Lenard is a great title, with "The Z-Spot," by B. K. Ethridge running a hair's length behind. These two are no-brainers, what with their enticing play on words.

That said, I don't see any title that puts me off. Some, too, while not immediately bell-ringing in terms of word-play, are intrinsically tantalizing, i.e., "Beautiful Music," by Kendrick, or "Glory," by Wilburn.

Better than all these wonderful titles is when I get the chance to read all the stories.

Thanks A.K.P. for putting together this project, every kinky, stinking, toothy bit of it.

  20. I've gotta go with "Pretty Kitty's Post-Apocalyptic Porn Palace" -- though "I Was Legend" made me wish I'd thought of it.
