When Angelic Knight Press was started up, the intent was not to showcase my stories. That has not changed. Even though my novels will not be being released as planned with another Indie Press, Angelic Knight will not be publishing them. Okay, to be honest, the thought had crossed my mind, but to lend credibility to the Press, I will no longer have any of my stories published here. The reason: there would always be those saying that my stories are an automatic. Yes, it was certainly fun to jump into our first three anthologies, but that is over now as well.
I have not decided how and when I will publish my shorts, collections, and novels, but I will get them out at some point. I have roughly twenty completed novels I'm sitting on. I have some offers from legacy publishers, but those who know me know where I stand with that.
I believe in what Angelic Knight Press is doing with finding fresh talent as well as known authors and our recent switch to include different genres. Stacey did a remarkable job at The World Horror Convention, as she has all along with everything else that she has done since arriving on the scene here.
Does this mean that I am gone from our Press? Of course not! The Press will remain my day job; a labor of love; and a vehicle for fresh new writing opportunities for everyone. How many small presses can say they have the talent we have and some of the great talent to come? Stacey will be getting us more up to date with this!
I want it to be perfectly understood that I WANT to see the rest of our little family publish here. We have talent. A lot of talent. I'm a whirlwind with my writing and don't want to take anything away from new and old friends.
I will still be the number horn tooter, blogger, assistant to the assistant editor, etc. This Press is great! Blaze will spread the word!
