About the AuthorBertena Varney was born in Pikeville, KY. Later she moved to Winchester, KY where she attended George Rogers Clark High School. When she graduated in 1989 she began her studies at Morehead State University. Her studies included the following: - B.A. in Social Science and Education - M.A. in Social Science and Education - M.A. in Sociology and Criminology She used all of her extra essays, projects and independent study classes to study vampires in pop culture.
