Making The Beginning Sparkle

Going through the Amazon Kindle page for "Satan's Toybox: Demonic Dolls," I had to play around with the various sample reading gizmos and such. Yes, I realize my poem is there in its entirety, but there are other great words as well that follow me. While I certainly did not want to put the spotlight on me in the forward, it makes me aware of the importance of having the very beginning of the book sparkle because that is what will either make or break a readers interest. Stacey, Rebecca, and Kathy certainly made sure the beginning was done right.

Thank you team for a job well done!

Authors and readers: tell us your thoughts on this. After all, this will not be our only anthology. We want to do it right.

  1. It was a team effort! And yes, we definitely want people to tell us the good and the bad.

  2. Just got my copy and I'm revisiting my childhood fears of my dolls going after me during the night. I'm not done yet but so far its great.

  3. So glad you like it, Cindy! I will hand deliver a paper version to you as soon as we get them. This way you can see the awesome work that Rebecca does. And we can discuss your cover.
