Five Star Review From Cindy Keen Reynder

Review by: Cindy Reynders on Sep. 17, 2011 : star star star star star
Yvonne Bishop's tale starts off with a powerful bang, literally, as Phoenix, a Denver Post reporter, runs over someone or something with her car. Phoenix's editor has given her an assignment--investigate the mysterious disappearances of young people in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Phoenix will take investigative reporting to a new height.

Secrets of the small community soon begin to unfold and she is thrust into a world filled with creatures she never imagined existed. Bipedal delves into the mechanics of human psyche and the animalistic tendencies that lie within each of us, but it also offers a glimpse into the redeeming characteristics of human nature.

A deep and enduring love glimmers beneath all the action, like gold sifted from a pan of intrigue. This short gem of a story provides comfort amid the darkness by showcasing the triumph of good defeating evil. The word count may be limited, but definitely not Ms. Bishop's creative imagination. One hopes to see more of her work as it is both entertaining and enduring. It's also best read under the light of a hunter's moon...
